Some time has passed since I published my last blog entry. It was caused by numerous situations which in a specific moment reach apogee. In such moments, when you think you are fed up with something, it’s time to face up to adversity.

The 1st November became for us a day from which we have to face up to new situations. The first of them was correcting lots of posts mainly due to grammar, asks for cracks, numerous off topics and spam. As we have a hostile attitude towards piracy, all signs of having illegal game copies resulted in bans. These in turn resulted in insults via e-mails, communicators and forums (by logging through the another IP). This picture looks not too much pleasantly, however gained experience can be used in the future. But let’s get back to last year, November 10th 2008, when a message from Bartek surprised me. He told me then about mysterious person called as Brus. He offered us a help, which every Internet service in point of fact count on – sponsorship. At first I was feeling mistrust towards person who had just appeared on FIFAM scene, but in the course of time mistrust has changed into friendship. Thanks to Brus our service has gathered speed and we have started implementing new projects.

The first initiative was advertising our service on other websites to attract new users. The second were a technical matters that is removal to new server, adding blogs on the website and cosmetic changes on the forum. These things were taken care of by Bartek and Piotrek. I together with Jarek had started to work on English version of our website. During localization works it turned out how much content we have on the website. I have in mind such sections as articles, manuals and other stuff. Despite a lot of work to do, we have opened English – language website on 1st December. Good comments which we have heard about this project on the official forum became confirmed in our belief that the decision to translate our service into English was a great move.

Two weeks after opening English website, another big event took place. I mean our first so big modification that is Polish Giga Patch was released. It’s name was speaking for itself, the same as the number of downloads, which surpassed over 7 000. What the new version of PGP will bring? We’ll find out soon. But let’s get back to previous year, when we gave into your hands new layout before Christmas. The author of this work was Bartek, as usual, he always takes care of technical matters. I could only obtain such gadgets as T-shirts with FIFA 09 logo and moby with NFS logo from our partners - EA Poland. Christmas came, that meant the time of joyful atmosphere which we could observe on the forum. We were waiting for the New Year. I didn’t then know what the New Year will bring to us, now I know, but this is completely different story...

The function I perform on service requires lots of spare time, devotion and self-denials. I start and end every day visiting the service which I co-create together with my friends and the rest of FIFA Manager community. Without them it would be difficult to drive this “machine” which speeds up from month to month.
