Gerald Köhler, one of the FIFA Manager 10 game authors, shared with us new information about the second official patch. According to his statement works on Update 2 made a good progress, currently programmers are focused on the following aspects:
- 3d match improvements (better and more varied shots, more realistic number of cards, improved passing, improved goalkeepers, defenders react faster, more realistic handballs)
- better handling of widgets in resolutions like 1440x900 (move your mouse pointer over a widget to see it completely)
- bug fixing (Italian CaC, line-up crash, highlight mode etc., about 50 issues so far)
- option to load either an EA database or a fansite database at game start
- several smaller live ticker improvements
- various tuning efforts (e.g. tactical education)
- pre-selected half-time talks (save some mouse clicks)
Release of Update 2 is planned on late November/early December. More information should appear in the coming days.
